SOLD Mahogany Barrister Leaded Glass Bookcase with Drawer
We are pleased to be offering today this sectional barrister leaded front bookcase that dates from the turn of the century, early 1900s, in original found condition. It is in a dark reddish brown stain finish. It has all leaded fronts with the only damage being 1 center glass piece has a crack, but it is intact. The sections on the door height are 11.5 inches on the two larger door sections and 9.5 inches on the other two sections. This model has the large drawer on the base. Someone has replaced one of the knobs with a brass knob off a Macy or another bookcase, the rest are mother of pearl style knobs. The overall size is 34.25 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 56 inches tall. Finding one with the antique leaded glass work on all the sections is difficult to find especially with a drawer base and metal banded sides. The waterfall top and base are the more desirable top and base. It is a nice sectional bookcase that is pretty much all original.
