We are pleased to be offering today this original finish mahogany barley twist parlor table that dates from the 1880s era and is a Merklen. Merklen was well known for their specialized style of furniture as displayed in this table. It has brass lion heads on the top of all four legs, barley twist turnings and it is in the original finish. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 30 inches high and 15 inches high to the shelf. It has a traditional brass talon foot with a wooden ball center. The top of the table is not split, but does have numerous stains and wear marks. If you desire, we can scuff down the top and re-spray it to remove a majority of the markings.
