We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful solid tiger awn oak barley twist four legged scalloped shapely top parlor stand that dates from the 1900s.  It is freshly refinished.  We stripped it down to remove the scratches and scars on the top and we wanted to reveal the gorgeous tiger sawn oak used.  The barley twist has a real strange grain to it that almost looks like rosewood.  The table will cost $30 to be shipped apart, which would be tapping the legs into the slots on the top and screwing them in.  The table would be $89 to have shipped together.  The table is 24 inches round, per se due to the scallop edges.  The bottom shelf is 16 inches across and the height is 29.5 inches high to the top and 11 inches high to the bottom shelf.  One of the legs has what looks like ink marks, I am not sure if it is in the wood or not, but very unique.  There is a knot that shows up on the bottom shelf as you can see in the photos.  The table has been all stripped, sanded, stained and lacquered to provide you many years of carefree use.  Please check our other items for more investment minded antiques.
