SOLD Heavily Carved Continental Mahogany Trestle Table
We are pleased to be offering this Heavily Carved Continental Mahogany Trestle Table to you today. Dating from the early 19th century, Europe, this table features a rectangular top with a molded edge, above a conforming fluted frieze with carved foliate corners, raised on shaped foliate- and scroll-carved supports with carved leaf tips and ribbons above a pair of feathered wings centering an oval shield and flanked by floral rosettes. The supports are joined by a massive foliate carved center stretcher with floral rosettes. The table is raised on deeply carved paw feet. SIZE: 32” h x 78” w x 32” d. CONDITION: Old polished surface. Chip loss to a leaf tip at corner of apron. Otherwise very good.
