SOLD Antique Desk, Antique Continental Carved Mahogany Library Table
Continental Carved Mahogany Library Table. Late 19th century. The rectangular thick plank top with a dentil molded edge, above a recessed basket weave frieze fitted with ram’s heads at the corners and fitted with two carved drawers. The top raised on shield-form end supports heavily carved with S-scrolled molded edges centering a crown above a coat of arms flanked by pendant fruit clusters with foliate carving terminating in well detailed paw feet, joined by a pronounced lozenge shaped stretcher. SIZE: 31-1/2" h x 72” w x 34” d. CONDITION: Very good overall showing minor nicks and dings.
