SOLD French Victorian Flame Mahogany Carved Bed

We are pleased to be offering today this tough to find gorgeous American made French Victorian heavily carved beautifully veneered full size bed that dates from the 1930's.  This is part of a bedroom set that we purchased from a local estate.  We are selling the pieces separately, so please check our other listings if you are interested in an entire set.  We do offer generous discounts for multiple items purchased!  This is a normal full size box spring and mattress bed.  they have replaced the wooden rails with a set of metal rails that adds sturdiness and stability.  The bed is stunning.  Talk about book match hard to find very rare veneer such as this flame mahogany or crotch mahogany depicted in this gorgeous bed. Look at all the applied carving on the footboard and headboard.  The great thing about this bed is that if you want a queen size, you can get an adapter kit to make it a queen size.  The mattress would hang an each over each side of the bed approximately one inch, which you can't tell when the bed is made.  The queen size bed adapters cost approximately $125, but you can have them at whatever our cost is if you desire a queen size.  The bed is 58 inches wide by 49 inches high on the headboard.  The footboard is 58 by 25 inches high.  The inside dimensions for mattress purposes is 54x76, which is a modern day full size.  The stain is a medium walnut.  We have numerous pieces that match this bed if you desire a bedroom set.  We offer generous discounts for multiple items purchased.  Right now you are purchasing only the bed.  Shipping for the bed is $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.  Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
