SOLD Flame Mahogany Federal Style Card Table

We are pleased to be offering today this flame mahogany federal style Duncan Phyfe type game table that is a lot larger and heavier than 70% of the game tables shown on the internet.  The quality is outstanding!  It is made by the Brandt Furniture Company, which are well known for their high quality goods.  This brand is right up there with Baker and Kittinger when it comes to quality, which makes since as it came out of the same home as the Baker furniture we have listed.  It is in the original finish and hasn't even been polished as it came right out of the house.  It has a few rub marks here and there, which should cover up with Howard's polish and brings out the stunning flame mahogany.  When the table opens, there is a small rub marks near the hinge on the back.  There are no gouges.  It has a flame mahogany front with a maple inlaid insert, solid mahogany top that flips up to be a display table, close it for a hall table or you can pull it out on the brass castors to flip it up, spin it around, and play cards or have dinner for 4.  It is a great piece for functionality as it can serve many uses in your home or office.  It has a solid vase type mahogany multi-turn center post that comes down into a thick platform and 4 heavy carved legs that terminate in a brass cap foot with a brass castors.  The stain is reddish brown.  the condition minus a few rub marks is excellent having been around since the 1940s.  The overall size is  38 inches wide, 19 inches deep and 30 inches high.  When the table is open, it becomes 38 inches square and 29.5 inches high.  It is a beautiful game table that is not to be confused with the lesser quality tables seen online.  Shipping starts at $245 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.  Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
