We are pleased to be offering today this early empire marble top round center table that dates from the 1850s to 1860s. This large circular table with white Carrera marble top above the conforming mahogany apron with applied cross banded raised on a square v shape pedestal joined to a molded platform base with rolled elephant feet or jelly roll feet as they call it in the trade. The overall size is 36 inches round and 30 inches high. The condition overall has wear to the veneers and original surface with a dark patina. Normal and expected in use abrasion and are throughout. The marble top has been broken and was re-glued. It will be in need of additional restoration and coloring. There are minor stains on the top of the marble. Otherwise, it is a good honest pre-civil war era table. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
