We are pleased to be offering today a wonderful oak carved frame dating from the 1890’s with a circle carving insert that is either gesso or oak. It has both! It borders a circular glass picture of a maiden looking up tot the heavens. It is chip carved and has floral scenes on both sides. There is a crack in the center of the wood as shown in the picture that goes straight across, which has nothing to do with it structure. It also has a chip on the bottom corner. The overall size is approximately 10.75 inches square. The size of the circle glass is 6.75 inches round. It is a beautiful frame. Shipping is $8.
