We are pleased to be offering today this antique double door wardrobe with a dove tail drawer in the base and a fancy carved crest made of ash or oak. They are very similar in color and looks. It dates from the 1890s. This came right out of a local farmhouse. It has a super carved crest on top, routed carved lines coming down both outside posts, round dovetail that identifies the Eastlake style, and spoon carving along the top of the crest, face of the drawer and down the door. It has big bold hardware that is all intact. When you open the double doors, it reveals many hanging hooks for use. The overall size is 42 inches wide at the base, 18 inches deep on the drawer base and 14 inches tall on the drawer base. The wardrobe section is 39 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 85 inches high overall from the floor to the top of the crest. The wardrobe is in exceptional shape for the age. Shipping starts at $365 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
