SOLD Art Deco Multi-Veneer Inlaid Cedar Chest by Roos
We are pleased to be offering this wonderful multi veneer art deco inlaid
carved cedar lined blanket chest dating from the 1940's-1950's made by the Roos cedar chest company out of Forest Park, Illinois which were well known for their high quality cabinets.
This particular model has had the lock removed for safety reasons. It is
all walnut veneer with burl walnut in the center with checkerboard inlaid
racing inlaid both sides. There is ribbon mahogany in the front and a
carved baseboard. The multi bevel edge top does show some signs of wear
which we will touch up prior to shipping. The outside dimensions are 45
inches wide, 19.5 inches deep and 20 inches high. It is a great piece out
of a local home. Shipping starts at $69 for a Greyhound depot delivery and $89 if we ship to your home via a driveway delivery depending on your local. Please contact us to discuss shipping as the price varies by location and the type
