SOLD 1930’s Art Deco Multi-Veneered Carved Radio Stand
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful little what we call a radio stand as they always seemed to have an old radio on them back in the 1930s. It has a wonderful scallop shapely top with the cross grain walnut going across the outside border and multi-grain burl walnut and cross banded mahogany on the inside. It has a carved skirt all the way around. It has fluted tapered legs (6 in all) that are joined together with a spiderweb cross stretcher. The overall size is 28 inches wide, 28 inches deep and 29 inches high. The finish is all original. There is minor wear on the top, but nothing offensive. It is a great stand in a dark walnut stain.
