We are pleased to be offering today this custom Victorian age blanket box that the components date from the 1880’s era. It was most likely a sideboard or possibly a bed in its original day, but someone has made it into a custom blanket box. You cannot buy Victorian blanket boxes and that is why people made them. This is a really nice looking one! It has the original dark walnut color and has applied wooden appliqués on the molded lid, molded panel front and has a great little gothic style leg. The overall size is 38 inches wide, 16.5 inches deep and 22.5 inches high. The inside dimensions when you open the lid is 13.5 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 35 inches long. It is beautifully done and would fool many people into thinking it was factory made. Shipping starts at $145 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
