We are pleased to be offering today a gorgeous fully restored and refinished solid black walnut with burl accent trim 48 inch round walnut banquet table that dates from the 1860s to 1870s. It is a gorgeous table that comes with two extension leaves that are 11.5 inches wide. When the leaves are installed into the table, it opens to be approximately 74 inches long by 48 inches wide by 30 inches high. It has a split pedestal base with a fluted carved center leg. The table will actually open to 11.5 feet long if you put more leaves in it. The split pedestal does come apart and splits out a center leg for additional support. Right down the original castors this gorgeous solid black walnut table with the exception of the burl walnut trim on the skirts and legs is all solid black American walnut. The legs are fluted carved, have buttons on the feet, multi turn spindle gallery tops and the original castors. If you are looking for quality and high end then this is the gorgeous table for you. It has been stripped, refinished, tightened up, new glue blocks, hand sanded, stained a beautiful antique walnut with multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer and hand rubbed in between each coat with Sherwin Williams moisture resistant lacquer.
