SOLD Antique Victorian Renaissance Walnut Cylinder Secretary Desk with Inlaid
We are pleased to be offering today this fine and outstanding example of Victorian renaissance as displayed in this beautiful inlaid walnut cylinder secretary desk. It has an extra-large crest making the desk 107 inches high, 44 inches wide and 26 inches deep. It is 30 inches high at the pull-out writing surface. The bookcase has no shelves. I believe someone had put glass shelves in, but there were no shelves when we purchased it. It is a gorgeous desk as shown in the photos. It has birds eye maple and walnut on the inside of the drawers, the interior and the top section of the walnut double door glass bookcase. It dates from the 1880s in really nice shape. It would fit into a 96” room if the center crest was removed. It is 96 inches to the top of the finials. It has a beautiful double burl panel on the cylinder, molded panel doors on the base, birds eye maple trim on the interior of the bookcase top which is rare. This was made by a quality company. It has a nice patina. It comes apart into three sections for ease of moving. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
