This antique marble top sideboard or cupboard is also called a Huntsboard because of the themed carvings featured on the backsplash. Dating from the 1880s, this Victorian Burl Walnut Sideboard features some attractive game, fruit, and berry carvings, raised panels, multi-turned spindles, and a desirable marble top. Even the crests are fruit and berry carved. This antique sideboard was refinished in the last 30-40 years in a medium walnut stain, which really enhances the burl highlights. Featuring oval molded burl walnut double doors with applied burl walnut trim and buttonettes; if you're looking for something that is very Victorian, this is an excellent candidate. This stunning antique marble top sideboard measures 49 inches wide on the base, 22 inches deep, and the height to the base is 37 inches tall. The overall height from the floor to the very top of the pieces is 99 inches, so you will want to make sure when you consider this that it will fit in your home, as most standard ceilings are 96 inches tall. This antique sideboard cupboard actually comes with a key, but we never guarantee old locks, as they are temperamental.
