SOLD Antique Sideboard, Victorian Burl Walnut Marble Top Buffet

This beautiful Victorian Antique Sideboard features burl walnut, heavily carved beveled glass mirror, and marble top. Dating from the 1880s era in nice condition, this antique sideboard has all kinds of beautiful carvings, burl walnut drawer fronts on the dovetail drawers, original brass hardware including the escutcheons and the only thing wrong with this piece is there is no key for the locks. Everything is unlocked currently, and we will look for a key, but cannot guarantee that we will find one.  This sideboard has a heavy crown molded top, incised carved bulbous turn posts, carved arch and fluted multi-turn spindle post that supports the secondary shelf right above the 1.25-inch-wide beveled glass mirror back.  Look at the beautiful pink quartz colored marble top. The marble sits upon a base that consists of two dovetail drawers above one long dovetail drawer that is above two heavily carved doors that open to reveal a shelf mid-way. It has carved posts coming down both sides, panel sides and the overall look is just great.  It has a nice warm patina for the age.  The overall size is 48 inches wide, 21 inches deep on the marble top, 10 inches deep on the mirror back, 37 inches high to the top of the marble and 76 inches high overall.  The size of the bevel glass mirror is 39 inches wide by 15.5 inches tall.  The shelf above the mirror protrudes out 8 inches for display space.  It is in a medium walnut stain finish.  Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
