Dating from the turn of the century, this is a genuine Victorian cannonball stick and ball full size bed with the unusual curved footboard, which is not seen very much in brass beds. We guarantee that this bed is from the 1890s era, not a reproduction. It is in really nice original and untouched condition. On the cannonballs and the curved footboard, you can see the charm of the age, but nothing is beaten up, and the turnings are all there. The shine is pretty good, and this bed will make someone really happy. There is some oxidization on the cannonballs, but it has an overall really nice patina. The overall size is 54 inches across, 41 inches high on the footboard, and 60 inches high on the headboard. Inside, it measures 54 x 75, which will take a modern day box spring and mattress.
