SOLD Antique Two-Drawer File Cabinet – Yawman & Ereb MFG Co, c.1890

Offered here is an original antique tiger sawn oak two-drawer file cabinet made by Yawman & Ereb Manufacturing Co., dating from around 1890. This compact cabinet came straight out of a home office and carries the character and charm you expect from a piece with 130+ years of age.
Crafted from solid tiger oak with rich grain and all dovetailed construction, this cabinet features:
Original embossed drawer pulls with the Y&E logo
Original nameplate reading “Yawman & Ereb MFG Co., Rochester, NY, Hartford, CT Agency, Plimpton MFG Co.”
No rods included (they were removed, and typically are unless you're using it as a card catalog anyway)
This piece is ideal for organizing documents, art supplies, or small tools, and it displays beautifully on top of a desk or side table.
