SOLD Antique Oak Sectional Filing Cabinet by Yawman
We are pleased to be offering today this sectional tiger sawn oak file cabinet made and sold by the Yawman and Erbe Manufacturing Company which is well known for high quality office equipment dating from the 1900's. This one is neat with two standard size drawers and extra wide brass handles on the front. It has the rod in one drawer, but not the other. The drawers are missing the id tags, which are no big deal. It has a sectional top that comes off. It has two index drawers. The original Yawman label is on the top. Then it steps out and comes down into the two bottom drawers. It is in really nice condition. There was one piece of molding missing, which we have replaced and matched so you wouldn’t notice. The overall size is 50 inches tall, 11 inches high on the larger drawer section, 17 inches deep on the index card section, 25 inches deep on the large drawers and 19 inches high on the base. The very corner of the large drawers on the right-hand corner is a fleck of veneer missing as well as the bottom left-hand side. Otherwise, it is in the original dark oak stain finish. Shipping starts at $245 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
