SOLD Antique Sectional File Cabinet, Victorian Office Drawers by Yawman

This Antique Sectional File Cabinet is one of the hottest things on the market right now. We cannot keep them in stock. I have been watching the auctions and these things are going through the roof.  This is a sectional Victorian age file cabinet in the original finish with all the original hardware intact. It consists of a top, one section with large card drawers, one section with a file drawer, one section with a double door storage compartment and the base has two sections with standard size file cabinet drawers sitting on a base.  It has 5 sections and the top and the base. This antique filing cabinet is in the original finish, and one side of the molding was broken but we replaced it. You can see the veneer face was chipped in the bottom left-hand drawer, but because it is all original, we haven’t touched it. It is amazing to find one original with all the hardware intact and it even has the original Yawman label. The overall size is 33 inches wide on the base, 25 inches deep, 34 inches high to the base of the four big file drawers, 17 inches deep on the door section, 36 inches high on the top section and 71 inches high overall.  The name tag is intact.  The handles are all there on the index card handles.  The three-drawer section has the rods and handles.  The cupboard section has the original knob.  The four large drawers underneath are missing one of the rod knobs.  The size of the drawers on the base cabinet is 12 inches wide by 10 inches tall.  The door cabinets are 15 inches wide by 13 inches high.  The three-drawer section has drawers that measure 9.5 inches wide by 8 inches high.  The very top section has drawers that are 6 inches wide by 4.75 inches high.  It is a great cabinet.  I have been watching them at auctions and one that I think is going to bring $1500 brings $3500 and they have been going crazy, so this is priced fair.  Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
