SOLD Antique Sideboard, Oak Chippendale Buffet by Baker Furniture
This antique oak sideboard is by the Baker Furniture Company, and features wonderful oak construction, the Chippendale style, Queen Anne cabriole legs, and dates from the 1980s. I am not very familiar with Baker Furniture as it is a bit more modern and therefore out of my wheelhouse, but I know this was an expensive piece brand new. It came out of a home in western Massachusetts. We also received a table and chairs out of the same dining room, so please check to see if they are available if you are looking for a set. This sideboard has a triple dove tail drawer on top, two small dainty drawers below and stands on high cabriole style queen anne pad foot legs. It has an ogee bevel edge on the banded top and the top does show some wear. There are some scratches and a couple of worn spots on the top. We can redo the top for the buyer if they so desire for no additional charge if you remind us at the time of the sale. The overall size is 70 inches long, 21 inches deep and 34 inches high. It shows minor little nicks and dings for being 40 years old. It is a high-quality piece of furniture from Baker as stamped on the inside of the dove tail drawer. Shipping starts at $275 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges.
