We are happy to be offering this Antique Oak Baker Furniture Dining Room Set. I am sure it is familiar in the Baker Furniture world, but it is quite unique; an oak Chippendale dining room set, with three different styles of Chippendale: city Chippendale with cutout splat back on the chairs, country Chippendale in the square front leg on the chairs and the table has Queen Anne Chippendale pad foot legs. The set has always been together in a home in southern Massachusetts. It has the Baker Furniture label on every chair skirt I believe. It comes with a parquet top table and 3 skirted factory leaves so you don’t have to see the ugly gap when the three 17-inch leaves are inserted, and the table is 117 inches long when all three leaves are inserted. The antique dining room table is 45 inches wide and 66 inches long when closed. The set has two armchairs and eight side chairs. They are all finished in a dark oak stain. The side chairs are 22 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 19 inches high to the chair cushion and 38 inches high to the top of the chair. The armchairs are 22 inches wide on the seat, 19 inches wide between the arms, 20 inches deep, almost 20 inches high to the seat, 28.5 inches high to the arms and 39 inches high to the chair back. The chairs seem to be tight and sturdy. The set is in good condition showing the normal nicks and dings which are mostly on the edge of the tabletop. A quick sand and re-spray on the top would make it glisten. It is all Baker which is well known for their high-quality goods. It is probably priced for what four of the chairs cost when the set was brand new. You are getting the table, leaves, two armchairs and eight side chairs all for one money.
