SOLD Antique Set of 8 Carved Chippendale Dining Chairs – Twin Arms
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful set of 8 fancy carved solid mahogany excessively carved Chippendale ball and claw dining chairs that date from 1990s era. They came out of a local estate. I am pretty sure I remember these chairs coming from overseas back in the late 1900s to early 2000s. They are all solid mahogany carved with detailed. The fabric is a beautiful choice. The set consists of two arm chairs and six oversized side chairs. I don’t believe you can buy this type of chair anymore, but if you can it would be by one of the high-quality makers. These are high quality with excessive carvings. Look at the photos to see how stunning they are. The armchairs are 25 inches wide across the arms, 20 inches on the inside of the arms, 19 inches deep, 41 inches high to the top of the carved crest, 28 inches high to the arm and 20 inches high to the seat. The six side chairs are 20 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 38 inches high to the chair back and 20 inches high to the seat. The seats have excessive padding for comfort. The reddish-brown finish is in great condition. Shipping starts at $345 due to size for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
