We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of solid mahogany centennial age dining chairs that consists of two armchairs and four side chairs dating from the 1880's. They are all solid mahogany including the fancy lace back. They come with a leather seat fabric that is in pretty good condition. One of the armchairs shows wear on the fabric. A side chair has a water spot in the center. The fabric does show normal wear from use. The fabric is usable, but we understand that many people like to have the chairs match their décor. The seats pop out for ease of reupholstering. The chairs have a dark reddish brown stain finish that shows normal wear marks, nicks and dings for the age. They have a solid triple loop center splat, applied carvings on the back, solid flared back posts, cutout shapely scallop top, big bold solid mahogany elbows on the cabriole ball and claw front legs and flared back legs. You are getting all six chairs for one money. The armchairs are 22 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 23.5 inches wide across the arms, 39 inches high to the chair back, 28 inches high to the arms and 19 inches high to the seat. The side chairs are 21 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat.
