We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of six solid mahogany Chippendale ball and claw dining chairs that date from the early 1900s in beautiful condition. Someone has recovered the chairs in a beautiful antique style fabric that appears to be in good condition. The chairs are solid mahogany including the fancy carved back. The set consists of five large side chairs and one master armchair. They have a cabriole leg that terminates in a ball and claw foot. The backs are in the Chippendale city style. The frame is in a dark reddish brown mahogany stain that goes well with most of the ball and claw tables we sell. You are getting all six chairs for one money. The armchair is 28 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 19 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 19 inches deep, 41 inches high to the back, 27 inches high to the arms, 19 inches high to the seat. The five side chairs are 21 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, and 19 inches high to the seat. It is a wonderful set of chairs showing the normal nicks and dings.
