SOLD Antique Set of 8 Mahogany Chippendale Ball and Claw Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this set of 8 solid mahogany carved city back carved cabriole leg Chippendale dining chairs that date from the 1890s. They came right out of the home. You can tell that they didn’t sit in the same area of the home as some chairs are more faded than others. These would be a great candidate for tinting. Look at the photos and decide for yourself. Please contact us if you desire a quote. The chairs have a solid mahogany bevel edge carved skirt around. The chairs have needlepoint designs on all the seats, which are in pretty good shape. The chairs are in the dark reddish brown stain finish, but some are darker than others. The chairs have a city style Chippendale back with the finger hold. The chairs have cabriole legs with the ball and claw foot. The chairs are 22 inches wide across the legs, 20 inches wide on the seat, 18 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 18 inches high to the seat. You are getting the set of eight for one money. The chairs have a solid flared back. We will make sure the chairs are tight and sturdy prior to shipping. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
