SOLD Antique Set of 6 Carved Period Empire Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of 6 period empire carved dining chairs dating from the 1860s in beautiful condition. The only thing we can see wrong with these chairs is that the upholstery is stained. The slip seats can be easily reupholstered. The chairs themselves are in better than average condition. They have a serpentine front skirt, beaded molded edge, saber style front legs, flared back legs, hand carved back and a stunning center splat. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 33 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. They are in a dark reddish brown stain finish. They are tight and sturdy. Shipping starts at $285 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
