SOLD Antique Pair of Victorian Renaissance Armchairs with Jenny Lind Heads
We are pleased to be offering today this pair of renaissance Victorian burl walnut carved armchairs dating from the 1880s era in what appears to be pretty much original condition. They are a great looking pair. They have Jenny Lind heads holding up the arms of the chairs. I don’t believe they are John Jelliff chairs, but they are of that quality. They have fancy multi-turn tapered front legs with chair trim and skirts all in place, flared back leg, short arms with the Jenny Lind bodies holding up the arms, shield type back with burl panels for accent and a nice carved crest to finish off the top. The overall size is 24 inches wide across the arms, 20 inches wide inside the arms, 21 inches deep, 41 inches high to the back, 22 inches high to the arms and 17 inches high to the seat. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
