SOLD Antique Oak Morris Chair with Lion Heads and Claw Feet
We are pleased to be offering today this solid tiger sawn oak with rope twisted side spindles, big lion heads on the scrolled arms, claw feet, fully adjustable four position back and in the original finish. It dates from the 1890s. It has no cushions but can easily be made at an upholstery shop. They use two pieces of rectangular foam and place the upholstery of your choice on them. The rope twist side spindles are unique. The overall size across the arms is 30 inches wide, 20 inches wide inside the arms, 25 inches deep, 40 inches high to the back when upright and 12 inches high to the seat frame. It is a great morris chair in a dark oak stain finish. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
