SOLD Antique Morris Chair, Victorian Lion Head Claw Foot Reclining Chair
This antique Morris chair features a beautiful solid mahogany body with lion carvings and claw foot carved knuckles. Dating from the 1890s, this antique Morris chair reclines, and features some attractive, newer cushions that somebody made for it. This reclining Morris chair is all solid mahogany construction and maintains a beautiful patina. It comes with the original support rod to allow you to adjust the back to four different levels. The cushions are tall enough to be very comfortable. The chair is all solid mahogany with wings carved into the sides of the arms. The front has beautiful, detailed toenail claw feet. The dark reddish-brown finish looks great with the fabric choice. The overall size is 33 inches across the arms, 16.5-17 inches high to the seat, 22 inches high to the arms and 43 inches high to the chair back in the upright position. Please keep in mind that the back is adjustable. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
