In original condition, this country style banker’s/lawyer’s swivel office chair dates from the 1890s, and features a time-worn patina, exactly as it came out of the estate! There was a crack in the seat at one time, and has been repaired at some point. Overall, this chair is just completely original. It has a steam bent rolled arm that follows the contours of the curved back, with a hand hold in the back, and nine multi-turned spindles support the back. It’s all finished in a dark oak finish. If you’re a big fan of originality, this look is great for you. I personally don’t like using this type of chair for a lot of sitting, but it’s great to look at. It will be shipped in two boxes, and four screws will have to be put in to hold it together. The overall size is 21 inches across the seat, 18 inches deep, 30 inches to the back as it sits, although it will go up and down, and the seat is 18 inches high. It automatically tilts back.
