This antique oak office chair features tiger sawn oak construction, a curved back, swivel and tilt feature, and would be great in any lawyer's, doctor's, banker's or professional's office. Dating from the early 1900s, this chair has multiple curved slats that follow the contour of your back, and remains finished in the original medium oak stain. Standing on a four-legged swivel / tilt base, this antique office chair retains its original casters. The chair is 17.5 inches wide across the front of the seat, 17 inches deep, 17 inches high to the seat as it sits now, and 33 inches high to the top of the chair back. Keep in mind this chair swivels and tilts, and the seat can go up and down 2-3 inches or so, so height measurements are based on how the chair is set right now. This antique office chair is very likely Globe Wernicke, but it does not retain a tag.
