SOLD Antique Office Chair, Oak Lawyers Office Chair w/ Swivel Tilt
This antique office chair features solid tiger sawn oak construction and four-legged swivel tilting body, Dating from the 1920s in original condition, this antique office chair was originally sold in Portland Maine by the Martin Office Equipment Company. We have sold their goods previously and this piece came right out of a local estate. It has the vertical slats that follow the contours of your back for comfort and style, dainty arms, solid scooped-out saddle seat, resting on a threaded rod four-legged base that retains the original wheels that still roll nicely. This antique office chair is original and would look amazing refinished to draw out the gorgeous grains of tiger sawn oak. The overall size is 20 inches wide across the seat, 22 inches wide across the arms, 19 inches deep, 20 inches high to the seat, 29 inches high to the seat and 38 inches high to the chair back. Please keep in mind that the height is adjustable by approximately 3 inches. It is in the nice original finish showing minor nicks and dings from normal use. Shipping is $145 for a driveway delivery in the continental USA. The chair will arrive unattached to the base and will go together with four screws that are included.
