This set of Antique Mahogany Dining Chairs are gorgeous! Dating from the 1880s, these 6 side chairs that are ALL solid mahogany construction, from the legs to the seats to the chair backs and splats.
Featuring one piece flared back legs, cabriole front legs w/ carved elbow and delicately carved ball and claw foot, there’s are quintessential Victorian mahogany chairs. The rushwork on the seats looks like it might be original, and it’s in pretty good condition considering. Honestly, if I were putting these in my house, I would leave the seats as is, because aesthetically I think it’s just beautiful against the GORGEOUS aged patina on that solid mahogany wood. It’s up to you, though - the seats are easy enough to change if you decide to do so! Measuring 22” x 19” x 39”, and 18” from the floor to seat, these classic antique solid mahogany chairs are a designer’s dream. You are buying all six chairs for one money.
