We are pleased to be offering today this square oak carved banquet table that comes with 12 factory leaves that opens to 170 inches (over 14 feet!) and dates from the 1890s. What an amazing table that is even stamped R.J. Horner. Here is a R. J. Horner table in the original finish. The 12 factory leaves are 9.5 inches wide. The table itself is 54 inches square with beautiful tiger sawn oak used throughout. There is one spot on the top that shows a spill about the size of an 8” dinner plate, which has been touched up and is very usable. The base has lion heads on the top arches, detail claw foot, carvings throughout, carvings on the legs and center of the base. When the base is pulled apart, it exposes a gorgeous thick carved center leg for added strength, support and beauty. It came out a home with 12 lion head chairs, which we have purchased and are being sold separately. We are showing a picture of the table and chairs for you and if interested in the set, please contact us to see if the chairs are still available. The table is in the dark oak stain and retains the original R.J. Horner celluloid label. It has a wonderful carved skirt, base and beautiful graining. Shipping starts at $425 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges, which could add on especially if you're on the West Coast.
