SOLD Antique Kitchen Chairs, Antique Set of 5 Mahogany Ball and Claw Dining Chairs
We are pleased to be offering today this set of 5 mahogany ball and claw dining chairs that date from the 1890s to 1900s in original condition. They were purchased right out of a Massachusetts home. This set had a table that we were lucky enough to purchase at the same time. The set of chairs has 4 side chairs and 1 arm chair. The arm chair has carved knuckles on the cut out support arms, wide Chippendale splat back, cabriole legs with ball and claw feet and a solid H cross stretcher. They have one piece flared back legs. The finish is a dark reddish brown showing minor nicks and dings. The chairs have a white vinyl seat cover on them. These are slip seats which are easy to reupholster by wrapping the fabric around, stapling it and putting them back on. The overall size of the side chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 38 inches high to the back of the chair and 18.5 inches high on the seat. The arm chair is 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 38 inches high to the back, 26.5 inches high to the arms and 18.5 inches high to the seat. You are getting all five chairs for one money.
