SOLD Antique Hall Tree, Carved Oak Double Mirror Lift Seat Hall Bench
This antique hall tree or hall bench is an oversized model featuring solid tiger sawn oak construction, a claw foot lift seat, raised panels, beaded carving, and bevel glass mirror with 6 gigantic, embossed metal hooks. Dating from the 1890s, this antique oak hall seat is in the original finish. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that there was a damaged hook that we had repaired by a master welder. There is a piece of oak beaded molding missing on the boy scout carving on the raised panel underneath the bevel glass mirror. It has a really nice wide bevel glass mirror that is in good condition. All the carvings on the top are complete. The extra-large hooks will hold many items. It has big bold arms. There is a lift up seat to storage of hats and gloves. The overall size is 35 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 18 inches high to the seat, 29 inches high to the arms and the overall height is 82 inches. It is a wonderful hall tree. The size of the bevel glass is 23.5 inches wide and 29 inches high. It is a great hall tree for your entryway. Shipping starts at $395 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
