This antique oak hall bench features original finish tiger sawn oak, large carvings above and below the original beveled glass rectangular mirror, and massive hooks that are all original with gorgeous patina. Dating from the 1890s, the carving on this antique hall tree is 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide on the top and the bottom. The original dark oak finish is outstanding. The only thing I see wrong is that a little piece of the arm that goes up against the backsplash is missing. It isn’t structural but we will detail it out prior to shipping. The lift seat on this antique hall tree lifts to open and expose large storage space. It has the original seat braces underneath; there is a line in the center, but it is structurally sound. The base has an arch molded center with carved scroll feet and wonderful shapely arms. The overall size is 28 inches wide at the base, 39 inches wide on the top, 18 inches high on the seat, 29 inches high on the seat and 80 inches high overall. The size of the bevel glass mirror that is in great shape with a couple of small flaws is 23 inches wide by 13 inches high. It has a fantastic picture I am looking at, but oh wait that’s me!
