We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful flow blue bowl and pitcher set with soap dish that dates from the 1890s to 1910s.  It is getting harder to find flow blue as seen in this gorgeous set.  Underneath the bowl on the brim, there is what used to be an air pocket underneath the porcelain when they constructed this.  Someone has repaired it and it looks like a flake came over.  It is about 1 inch long and about .25 inch wide.  Other than that, the set is in great shape.  The pitcher is all fluted, the bowl is all scalloped and the matching soap dish is just pretty.  The soap dish is 5.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches high.  The bowl is 16.75 inches by 5.5 inches.  The pitcher is 12 inches high to the spout by 9 inches wide. The set is beautiful and marked underneath.  I believe it is Wellington Hanley England and it says the makers name, which is J&G Meakin.  We show how beautiful the set is on this period design pitcher stand that is on another listing.  The cost to have this lovely set shipped is $35.
