This lovely server is one carved and fancy piece of furniture. I have imported many containers in my life, and I am not sure where this server originated from, but I believe Belgium or Germany. It is excessively carved. It is carved everywhere I look. It has Jacobean barley twist bun foot legs, open compartment in the center, carved fruit bowls on both doors and a carved full wingspan eagle on the backsplash. It isn’t a heavy piece, but it appears like it is. It is well built and sturdy. Look at the carvings. It is fancy all the way around across the top, bevel edges, sides have carving, the backsplash has carving and more. The finish is all original from the 1910s era. The overall size is 50 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39 inches high to the top of the case and 47 inches high to the backsplash. The condition is nice original. The top does show nicks and dings, but nothing major. This will be an eye catcher in your home. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
