Made of mahogany, this is an empire drop leaf night stand/end table that has scroll feet and double drawers, and dates from the 1930s. A beautiful piece, it has double drawers with glass knobs, drop leaves on both sides, a cylinder postered base, and goes down into a platform jelly roll scrolled foot. The overall size when it is closed is 16 inches wide, 16 inches deep, and 28 inches high. The leaves are 9 inches long, and when opened, the stand becomes 34 inches across. The cabinet has been re-sprayed with a satin sheen lacquer to removed the nicks and dings, and the condition is really nice.
