SOLD Antique Accent Table, Antique Spectacular Victorian Marble Top Center Table with Ladies Heads

We are pleased to be offering this spectacular Renaissance Victorian oversized marble top center table or library table to you today. Dating from the 1870s era, in original condition, pictures of this item cannot possibly do this table justice!  It features burl walnut accent trim panels around the wide skirt. It has a large center drawer in the front. It has ladies’ heads carved all the way around on all four sides. It is simply unbelievable in person. I have never had a table of this quality and size before. Look at the center cross piece and the legs that hold up the entire table because words just can’t do it justice. It has a white and gray grained multi-shape design ogee bevel edge top sits upon the base. The only thing I can see wrong with the table is that there are trim pieces on the front, but none on the back.  I am not sure if they are missing or if they never had it. I have never seen a table like this in my over 50 years in the antique business.  The overall size is 48 inches wide, 29 inches deep and 30.5 inches high.  Take time to look at all the photos because you will likely never find one as impressive as this.  It has carved buttons, ladies or Jenny Lind heads, block and button moldings, incise carvings, applied carvings and to top it off- it is in the original finish.  Shipping starts at $400 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
