SOLD Antique #6 Larkin Solid Oak Bookcase

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful original finish solid oak
Larkin #6 four shelf open bookcase that dates from the early 1900s with the
original #6 Larkin label on the back.  It is a great bookcase with the
original Larkin label on the back with the Buffalo, NY address.  As you
know, Larkin was a company that mass produced  and also sold or traded or
handed out furniture.  They didn't make all of the furniture, but they did
do a lot of things.  Consumers used coupons from Larkin Soap to obtain
wonderful pieces like this open bookcase.  This bookcase is a survivor and
came right out of a Maine estate.  We haven't oiled it or cleaned it.  These
bookcases look fabulous all restored and we have the capability to do so if
you desire at an additional charge.  Please inquire at the time of sale
about restoration services.  The overall size is 38 inches wide, 12 inches
deep, 59 inches high to the top of the applied carved backsplash.  It has
four shelves that are removable and adjustable being 9 inches deep.  It has
an applied cutout bracket foot base and a backsplash that just dowels in
with a wonderful Larkin carving on top.  It is basically untouched and
