We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful turn of the century Victorian age bevel edge glass backsplash two door two drawer bookcase dating from the 1900’s. It is a great bookcase that came out of a local estate. It has three adjustable shelves on the inside with the large glass doors, heavily carved shapely bevel glass backsplash, two drawers in the base with lion face hardware and a cut out bracket foot base. I am not sure if this bookcase is a Larkin furniture item or not, but it certainly looks like one. I did not see a label. The finish is all original even though the backsplash is darker than the piece. This bookcase is a candidate for refinishing, if you like a lighter finish so please contact us prior to purchase to discuss pricing to refinish. The overall size is 39.5 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 76 inches high to the backsplash, 63 inches high to the bookcase section itself. It is all solid oak construction with the original bevel glass shapely mirror that has the worn marks in the silver of it. Shipping starts at $329 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
