We are pleased to offer this stunning Victorian sideboard, crafted from burl walnut and solid black walnut with a white marble top, dating from the 1870s to 1880s. This sideboard features a heavily carved Renaissance style, with intricate details that make it a statement piece for any dining space. Despite its substantial presence, it’s almost small enough to serve as a server. The sideboard is in beautiful condition, with what appears to be its original finish, though it may have been revarnished years ago due to its excellent condition.
The sideboard boasts a white and gray ogee bevel edge marble top that contrasts beautifully with the rich patina of the burl walnut. The back is heavily carved, and the piece features Renaissance-style handles on hand-cut dovetail drawers, burl walnut panel double doors, and a hand-carved crest at the top. Additional details include double drawers, picture frame molding, carved columns, and plenty of storage behind the double doors.
