We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful cherry stained Victorian age hairy toe nail claw foot plant stand or trophy pedestal that dates from the 1870s to 1880s. It looks like this is a piece of work from George Hunzinger. I have had this model before and I am pretty sure it had a Hunzinger label on it. The stand has a hair line crack down the pedestal, but it does not have anything to do with the sturdiness or stability. The bee hive turning is cracked due to age on the pedestal. Look at the detail feet with the pointy toe nails on them. It has fluted honeycomb turn outside posts that guard the center post that is really nice. The size of the post itself is approximately 8 inches across. The overall size is 20 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 40 inches high. Other than the one crack and normal and dings, it is in great condition. Shipping starts at $165 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area. Outside the normal area will incur additional delivery charges. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to obtain a quote for shipping outside of New England.
