We are pleased to be offering today this solid mahogany Hepplewhite style dining chairs that consist of 1 master armchair and 6 side chairs. It is a great looking set that has been reupholstered in a light brown Naugahyde that is in pretty good condition but does show flaws It looks like there might be some paint or tape marks on them, but they are in usable condition but the seats are easy to recover if desired. The chairs are solid mahogany and date from the 1930s to 1940s in good original condition. A couple of the chair backs have small cracks, and one has a chip on the side post. They are in a brownish mahogany color that goes well with the upholstery. The overall size of the armchair is 21 inches on the outside of the arms, 18 inches on the inside of the arms, 19 inches deep, 21 inches high to the seat, 28.5 inches high to the arm and 39 inches high to the chair back. The side chairs are 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat and 27 inches high to the chair back. The chairs have a one piece flared back leg, solid H cross stretcher that joins the legs together, tapered front legs, solid wraparound skirt and fancy cutout center splats that are solid wood. The chairs are all tight and sturdy. The chair shows the normal nicks, dings and rub marks from normal use over the years. You are getting all seven chairs for one money.
