This antique lawyer's office chair is wonderful, and massive, with oversized solid tiger sawn oak construction, and a swivel tilt feature that elevates the lawyer or banker's office chair to the next level. This antique office chair dates from the early 1900s in original condition. It came with a leather back, and the current seat cushion was made, as this antique oak office chair originally came with a press cane seat. The press cane is not expensive, and we show what it looks like with the cane missing. It has the original mechanism that makes the chair tilt and swivel. There was a piece of plywood on the hole, and they screwed it in; therefore, there are some holes on the oak seat, but they can easily be filled if so desired. This brown leather top cushion was made to go on top; the cushion is all torn apart, but the color goes nicely against the finish. This chair would look stunning all refinished and reupholstered, and the cool thing about this chair is the size and quality. It is very heavy and high-end. The chair is 23 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat as pictured, 40 inches high to the chair as pictured and 30.5 inches high to the arms as pictured. Please keep in mind the chair will go up and down a few inches. Please look at the photos to see the quality. If you would like to have the chair refinished, please contact us for a quote. We do not do upholstery in our shop. If you are a bigger person and want a comfortable chair, then this is for you.
