Beneath the marble, the table’s molded wooden skirt features gently curved edges and subtle incised detailing. A carved bracket is present on the front and one side, with the other two missing — likely removed by a previous owner for aesthetics when the table was placed in a corner.

The solid walnut base consists of four scrolled legs with burl walnut accents that add richness and warmth. The legs are joined by a central faceted column with turned finials above and below, and a beautiful pierced-carved stretcher that adds both support and architectural flair.
